RSE-2 Series

RKE series is an enclosed housing slew drive with IP65 rated seal for enclosure protection. This is a drop fit model for the RKO open housing series. An oxi-nitrocaurbarized externally geared slew ring meshes with a straight worm shaft allowing a teeth contact ratio of 1.8. Meshing the slew ring’s internally curved helical teeth with a straight worm allows for high tolerances and better backlash control when compared with other slew drives of the same size. High accuracy and light weight are the two dominant features that allows this drive to excel in performance. Recommended for applications where environment is harsh and cannot be controlled

Standard imperial drives are designed with a standard 1” 6B spline on the right- hand side of the worm shaft input and a 24mm hex head on the left-hand side for manual rotation. Standard metric drives are designed with a 25mm keyway on the right- hand side of the worm shaft input and a 24mm hex head on the left-hand side for manual rotation.

Worm shaft inputs can be altered during manufacturing to support customer requests for specific motor output shaft dimensions as well right-hand side and left-hand side orientation.
